Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives

The Minnesota Twins are an American professional baseball team based in Minneapolis. The Twins compete in Major League Baseball as a member club of the American League Central Division. The team is named after the Twin Cities area which includes the two adjoining cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul.

Honoring the community and the diverse populations here in the Twin Cities, the department of diversity and inclusion for the Minnesota Twins was in search for a way to promote and connect the latino communities, hispanic heritage, and local identity to the MN Twins

The Partnership

Presented in partnership with the Minnesota Twins, Yo. Un Latino en Minnesota will feature a series of profiles and perspectives from local successful Latinos, highlighting their achievements and relevance of work, which will provide the viewer with a positive personal narrative of what it means to be proudly Latino in Minnesota.

MLatino Media created a video series for the Twins that will be distributed through MLatino Media digital channels plus through El Minnesota de Hoy, the daily online news portal and current events publication for Latinos in MN; and through many digital outlets from our partners. This video series will also extend on to the local public television system SPEAK MPLS.
