Artificial Intelligence is everywhere.
For some, it represents opportunity, speed, and innovation. For others, it brings uncertainty—questions about jobs, creativity, and the future of how we communicate. The truth is, we are all in the same transition, trying to understand what stays, what changes, and what improves.

And sometimes… it’s just funny.
Recently, while on social media, I came across a video using AI to translate and recreate a well-known song—complete with voice. The result was supposed to feel familiar, but instead it turned into something completely different. It wasn’t the song anymore.
Let’s just say: it sounded like music, it looked like a translation, but the meaning had left the building.
The technology did its job mechanically: word by word, sound by sound. But the soul of the message—the cultural context, rhythm, the fury, and intent—was gone. What remained was something unintentionally funny, and a perfect example of what happens when translation becomes purely automated. We al should know to never AI-translate the voice of Mr. Fogerty.
And that’s the key point.
Language is not just conversion. It is interpretation.
It carries humor, emotion, identity, and cultural nuance. A phrase can be technically correct and still completely wrong in meaning. Anyone who has seen automated captions, machine translations, or AI-generated marketing copy knows exactly what that looks like.
We’ve all seen it:A slogan that means one thing in English becomes something completely different in Spanish.A caption that misses the tone entirely.A message that sounds “translated”… instead of communicated.
AI can help us move faster. But it doesn’t always help us move better. That’s where human expertise and cultural-lived knowledge still makes the difference.
